Lighting

Landscape lighting enhances your landscape and adds a whole new dimension of enjoyment. Low voltage lighting allows you to enjoy your landscape both day and night as well as during the winter, doubling the value of your landscape investment. In addition, installing landscape lighting adds security, and safety to your home. Landscape lighting or 12 volt lighting is a truly magical addition to any landscape. Up lights shine up trees displaying mother natures’ beautiful artwork, a light may be placed close to rock work to braise the front of the hardscape, or underwater lights may be installed in a pond or water feature and will cast a dynamic display of light upward. Many of the lighting systems we install have multi-station remote control that allows the client to change the atmosphere with a click of a button. Low voltage lighting can be enjoyed while entertaining in the landscape, from inside the home, and by anyone traveling by.

Landscape lighting doubles the value of any landscape. The landscape can be enjoyed during the day or night. There is no limit to what can be done with low voltage lighting. Here it is cast from the arbor onto the fascia rock of the fireplace and also can be seen illuminating the statue and wall in the background. Line Voltage and Low Voltage each have their own look and uses. Here full 110 volt lamp posts were worked into the design to pull the architecture of the historic building into the landscape. Low voltage lighting is integrated to create the beautiful effect you see here. A four station remote, low voltage lighting system is seen in action here in this photo. Lights attached to the arbor allow illumination of the stone work on the fire place. In the background you can see the trees have lights that shine upwards creating heavenly works of art. Landscape lighting is an integral part of landscaping.
Landscape lighting doubles the value of any landscape. The landscape can be enjoyed during the day or night. Here a great photo of the dynamic effect of low voltage lighting in a water feature. Not only does the lighting illuminate the sheets of water, but the light dances across the top of the reservoir portion throwing this spectacle all over the walls and landscape around it. It is hard to tell whether the Buddha is smiling more at night or during the day. Lighting on this large 6 foot statue enables it to be seen clearly from the large deck and living areas over 100 feet away. This front courtyard has over 25 lighting fixtures with a 4 station remote control. The remote control allows the client to adjust the lighting conditions so they shine in any social situation. The large custom water feature has two lights in the water and produce moving light show on the back wall of the water feature. This spectacle of light can be seen in several rooms of the house and from two front patios.
This contemporary Mother and Child statue is a great example of how dramatic lighting can be. As the lighting hits plant material and statue it jumps to life, even inside at the Colorado Home and Garden Show. Lighting can be used to screen out unwanted views and dictate the visual edge of a landscape by up lighting trees, shrubs, or other items. Water and plant material jumps to life when it is illuminated by light.
This large front landscape island is filled with landscape lighting illuminating large Aspen trees, the stone wall, and the statue of the kids playing leapfrog. This entire section of landscaping is able to be seen from all rooms on the front of the house. Here is a great example of how much value low voltage lighting brings to any landscape project. Landscape lighting allows one to enjoy the landscape at night as well as during the winter. This photo illustrates how landscape lighting can be enjoyed from the inside as well. This shot is taken from inside our clients' home during a winter storm. Lights dance on the stucco water feature as a result from the moving water on the surface.
Landscaping can be more fully appreciated with low voltage lighting. A four station remote allows this client to adjust his 12 volt lighting system to any entertainment situation. Underwater lights provide a beautiful lightshow seen throughout the kitchen and great room. This cooking island utilizes a stainless bbq, and refrigerator. An overhead arbor adds interest to the area and allows for lights to cast onto the serving areas. A perfect example of outdoor living here in Denver. This project includes all the elements in a dream landscape: fireplace, outdoor kitchen, water features, lighting, and plenty of living space. The entire backyard was enclosed for privacy with a masonry wall with accent pillars. The outdoor kitchen incorporates a raised, bar height area where friends and family can gather round and keep the host company while entertaining. This kitchen features a Viking cook top, warming drawer, sink, and storage areas. The large fire place is a great focal point for the living area portion of this project. A large pergola adds enclosure and makes this space feel much more like a room. Finally one large and one small water feature soothe any left over stress and fatigue of our busy lives. Enjoyable living at its finest.
